Read More →The design of the building reflects the long-standing western heritage of the Stock Show and provides a distinctive new home for the Western Stock Show Association (WSSA). The building will include a state-of-the-art workplace environment and support unique programming reflective of the educational, arts, heritage, and hospitality functions critical to the mission and values of the Association. A robust palette of natural and recycled materials will provide continuity with the legacy of the Stock Show and a sense of connection to the architectural language of the rural west. A carefully articulated and expressive building form will establish a dynamic civic gateway onto the NWC Campus and celebrate the vital role of the Association and the Stock Show into the future.
The Legacy Building will house a variety of spaces and uses including: a ground level welcome and public engagement area; conference level with board room and flexible conference space; office level for administration offices; and National Western Club level with bars, dining areas and the Western Lounge for members.
