The lab, constructed with a load bearing steel frame and steel roof structure, grows many samples in the greenhouse used by undergraduate and graduate students in various fields of study.
The project consisted of a 2,940-square-foot addition to the existing Weed Research Building on the Colorado State University (CSU) campus. The lab is primarily utilized for research and study to support sustainable weed management contributing to sustainable cropping systems.
