Saunders Heath Updates Name to Unify Saunders Construction Brand

(Fort Collins, Colo.) – May 10, 2023 – Saunders Heath, a subsidiary of Saunders Construction, Inc., and a leading mid-size construction manager and general contractor in Northern Colorado, announced they have retired “Heath” from their name and rebranded under the Saunders Construction name.

Heath Construction, LLC, joined the Saunders Construction, Inc., family of companies when Saunders acquired the Fort Collins-based business in 2014. In 2017, the company was rebranded under the name of Saunders Heath – formally a subsidiary of Saunders. Now going by Saunders, the latest name transition allows for a more consistent Saunders brand, while maintaining its roots as a local business. Saunders’ Fort Collins office will continue to be led by Dave Sandlin, president, and all employees will be retained.

The Saunders Fort Collins office had a 2022 revenue of $76 million, and is currently working on several notable projects in Northern Colorado, including:

Rendezvous Trial Apartments: In September 2022, Saunders broke ground on a new workforce housing project, The Rendezvous Trails Apartments, in Fort Collins, Colo. Made possible by a partnership between Colorado State University (CSU), Timberline Church and Tetrad Real Estate, this project is a seven-building, 180-unit housing complex offering one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments — 60 of which will be prioritized for CSU employees. Construction Start: September 2022; Scheduled Completion: September 2024; Project Value: $39 million

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR): This new 46,934-square-foot state-of-the-art facility will allow OCR to provide expanded clinical and physical therapy care for an expanding regional patient volume in Northern Colorado. The building sits on a 12.15-acre site at the northeast corner of 20^th street and 61^st avenue in the Fox Run development in Greeley, Colo. Construction Start: January 2023; Scheduled Completion: May 2024; Project Value: $22 million
