Saunders Construction, Inc. wins two AGC Colorado Awards

CENTENNIAL, Colo. – November 15, 2010 – Saunders Construction, Inc., a Colorado-based full-service construction manager and general contractor, was awarded an ACE Award in the category: Project of the Year (Under $5 Million) Prime Contractor for Swedish Medical Center – Radiation Oncology, Linear Accelerator Vault.  Saunders also received a Bronze Award in: Design/Build (All Projects) Prime Contractor for the Evie Garrett Dennis E-12 Campus (aka Green Valley Ranch).

Saunders Project Manager, Roger Tighe and Superintendent, Michael McNabb accepted the ACE Award on behalf of Saunders Construction for the Linear Accelerator project.  Vice President, Scott Bonner accepted the Evie Garrett Dennis E-12 Campus Award on behalf of the project team.

The AGC Colorado presented its member contractors with a total of forty awards, including fifteen coveted ACE Awards, this past Friday, November 12, 2010, during the 2010 ACE Awards banquet at the Hyatt Regency.

There were 52 entries in 15 categories, representing 32 firms and more than 550 attendees at the banquet. ACE not only honors the firms who are leaders in the Colorado construction industry but it also provides members a way to provide visibility for their firm.
