Teena Bergstrand works as a key leader for Saunders’ marketing, communications and business development efforts, developing successful marketing services, corporate communications and brand presence. As vice president of market strategy, Bergstrand oversees Saunders’ marketing and communications, with an enhanced focus on identifying market growth opportunities and competitive advantage strategies, and developing client experience enhancements.
Bergstrand holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and business administration, and certificate in environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. She is also a certified Basic Public Information Officer from the FEMA Emergency Management Institute.
Bergstrand has been recognized as a leader in the industry as a finalist in Denver Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 class of 2022, the 2018 Top Young Professional by Engineering News Record-Mountain States, and the 2015 Marketer of the Year by the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) Colorado Chapter. She is also an active member in the community serving as a current board member for the American Red Cross Colorado/Wyoming Executive Committee, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Denver board member and director of communications, Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce legislative committee, and Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Denver Class of 2021.
