Justin Tourdot has managed safety and environmental compliance for construction projects since 2000 after receiving a master’s degree in Risk Control from the University of Wisconsin Stout. He has an excellent understanding and practice of methodologies in safety assessment, measurement, and using monitoring metrics to manage risk throughout Saunders’ operations. Tourdot holds numerous professional credentials including Certified Safety Professional, Medic First Aid and CPR Facilitator, CISEC National Stormwater Inspector, Root Cause Analysis Facilitator, Excavation and Trenching Competent Person, OSHA 500 Trainer for Construction, and a past license holder as an Emergency Medical Technician in the state of Colorado. He is leading the integration of the principles of Human and Organizational Performance into our safety management systems.
As safety director, Tourdot plans and develops site-specific hazard planning for all major project phases, produces corporate safety and environmental training, maintains partnership programs with OSHA, oversees administration of workers compensation, and educates teams on environmental permitting and compliance.
