Jim MacKinnon has been involved in estimating and preconstruction services for commercial construction projects since 1991, and with Saunders Construction since 1996. As chief estimator, MacKinnon provides executive leadership, oversight and administration of all Saunders’ preconstruction efforts. He provides assistance, insight and innovation to the development and implementation of strategies to maintain a successful work program for the company. He also has oversight of the trade partner prequalification process and maintains and develops relationships with existing and new trade partners.
MacKinnon is an active member in several organizations including the Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC), and is a past board member of the National Sports Center for the Disabled and a past president of the Tilt-up Concrete Association.
